An Invitation to the Masters | 2025 Latin America Amateur Championship.
The legacy of Bobby Jones lives on in Latin America Amateur Championship winner Justin Hastings. This short documentary follows Justin’s journey through the championship in Argentina and his experience at the Masters. We interview players and organizers, and capture the atmosphere of the tournament with on-the-ground footage. It’s a story of passion, tradition, and a young golfer chasing a dream.
For CBS Sports’ coverage of the Latin America Amateur Championship in Argentina, we spent one week filming the tournament and related events. Our local crew included a fixer and a sound operator, assisting throughout the shoot. We conducted interviews with several players, event organizers, directors of the Latin America Amateur Championship, and ultimately with the tournament winner. We also coordinated the temporary importation of gear and managed all on-site logistics in close collaboration with the CBS team.
