Interama, later known as Parque de la Ciudad, was an ambitious amusement park project located in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Opened in 1982, it was designed to be the largest amusement park in South America. The park featured numerous attractions, including roller coasters, a monorail, and an observation tower offering panoramic views of the city. Despite its initial grandeur and potential, Interama struggled with financial and operational issues, leading to its decline. Over the years, the park faced periods of closure and partial operation, becoming a symbol of unfulfilled potential and changing urban dynamics in Buenos Aires.
We have a long lasting collaboration with Like a Shot, an Argonon subsidiary company. Since 2018 we have filmed remotely for them in different locations around Argentina to make possible some of the episodes of this amazing documentary series.
For this project, we conducted the research and pre-production, contacted and interviewed the contributors, and filmed with our local crew.
