The ex-Hotel Sierra de la Ventana, built in 1911 in Argentina, was a luxurious retreat for Buenos Aires’ elite, featuring lavish amenities like a golf course and tennis courts. Despite its early success, economic challenges and changing vacation trends led to its decline and eventual closure by mid-20th century. The building now stands abandoned, a haunting relic of its opulent past. Attempts to revive it have been unsuccessful, leaving it as a historical curiosity.
For this project, we conducted the research and pre-production, contacted and interviewed the contributors, traveled and filmed in Sierra de la Ventana with our local crew.
