UN Women has been implementing the Spotlight program in Argentina to support NGOs and other organizations dedicated to combating violence against women. Their mission is to place women’s rights at the center, with their stories driving the narrative and teaching us what needs to be done to address the judgments, misconceptions, and injustices they face every day.
E3: “The Power of Activism” features Maria Maldonado’s journey in Argentina, urging survivors to break the silence and join movements like #NiUnaMenos. This episode highlights global activism, including movements in Liberia, Vietnam, Kyrgyzstan, and Mali, driving significant legal and policy changes to end violence against women.
The British creative agency Heehaw requested that we film a complete mini-documentary in Buenos Aires about a local NGO supporting women who have experienced violence. With our local crew, we constructed all the scenes and sequences and conducted the interviews following the style guide. We then sent all the footage to be edited by the client.
