I am a director and DoP mainly based in Berlin since 2022. This is a multicultural city, with a large variety of languages and identities. Vibrant, full of ideas and artistic innovation. 

Though my experience with different cultures and work approaches started earlier. As a Filmmaker and camera operator I had the opportunity to travel the world, and I am still joyfully doing it. There are no borders, neither barriers in universal image language. 

Although you could fly for little time, with very specific requirements or a tight schedule, we are willing (together) to build up the most suitable team. That is the main goal and the lead of our job, working together. Nevertheless, clear communication, specific preparation and preproduction are invaluable assets and The Key that opens a smooth and pleasant shooting. In Fixer Argentina that is the way we do things.

But let’s face it, shooting is always full of surprising developments. Particularly Documentary shootings. That’s the reason why we love filming, the adventure and adrenaline running throughout our bodies, the access and contact challenges, the weather, the sunset and the early mornings, at dawn, to get that unique shot. Having a sound crew who you can rely on is also key, as the human element makes things much easier or worse.

We jump from one project to another, we meet each other and we rapidly share intense time together. At the end of the day, I know, it’s work; but I believe we all share the same passion and enthusiasm for what we do, otherwise we wouldn’t do it, and therefore we wouldn’t be able to make it happen. 

And again, building a great team and bonding with them is an important part, not always obvious. Working with Fixer Argentina has this plus.
